Indigenous USQ Student Scholarship

USQ will offer three scholarships for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students commencing full-time on-campus study at USQ in 2013. These scholarships will be awarded to an applicant from each of the USQ Toowoomba, Fraser Coast and Springfield campuses.

Value

The scholarship will have a maximum value of $6,000.

Eligibility

To be eligible applicants must:

• be commencing full-time on-campus at Toowoomba, Fraser Coast or Springfield
• be an Australian citizen or have permanent resident status
• be Aboriginal Australian or Torres Strait Islander descent
• be commencing any bachelor degree.

Selection criteria

Applicants will:

• have a high level of achievement in Year 12 or other post-secondary studies 
• have been actively involved in extra-curricular and community activities.
