USQ Residential College Scholarships

USQ will award a number of Residential College Scholarships in  2015.

Each Scholarship is for a maximum of one year and is to be used towards full board (room and meals) accommodation at the USQ Residential Colleges, Toowoomba Campus. The Scholarship does not include the semester vacation periods.

Value

Each Scholarship will have a maximum value of $3,350.

Eligibility

To be eligible applicants must:

  • commence their studies in an undergraduate program in Semester 1, 2015 or
  • continue their studies in an undergraduate program in Semester 1, 2015
  • have their principle place of residence at least 50 kilometres from USQ Toowoomba Campus
  • be an Australian citizen or have permanent resident status
  • be enrolled in a minimum of 3 study units in each of Semester 1 and Semester 2
  • be studying on-campus at Toowoomba.

This is a merit-based, non-repayable scheme and targets students experiencing financial hardship. Preference is given to those students who need to relocate from regional and remote areas.

Scholarships are awarded on a competitive basis.

Students commencing study in Semester 1, 2015 must complete the USQ Scholarship Application Form (PDF* 954KB).

Students continuing study in Semester 1, 2015 must complete the USQ Continuing Students Scholarships Application Form (PDF* 920KB).
