USQ Residential College Scholarships

In 2017, USQ will award a number of Residential College Scholarships.

Each Scholarship is for a maximum of one year and is to be used towards semester accommodation at the USQ Residential Colleges, Toowoomba Campus. The Scholarship does not include the semester vacation periods or short-term accommodation.


Each scholarship will have a maximum value of $4 400, which will be paid as a reduction in Residential College fees in 2017.


To be eligible applicants must:

  • commence or continue their studies in an undergraduate program in Semester 1, 2017
  • have their principle place of residence at least 50 kilometres from USQ Toowoomba Campus
  • be an Australian citizen or have permanent resident status
  • be enrolled in a minimum of 3 study units in Semester 1 and Semester 2
  • be studying on-campus at Toowoomba.

This is a merit-based, non-repayable scheme and targets students experiencing financial hardship. Preference is given to those students who need to relocate from regional and remote areas.

Scholarships are awarded on a competitive basis.
