Facilities

USQ's Ravensbourne Field Studies Centre consists of the old school building (including an equipped kitchen), a large covered BBQ area and a separate detached sleeping quarters for up to six staff.

There are tables and chairs to accommodate up to 30 people. Electricity, gas and hot water are available. Drinking water is provided via a large capacity rainwater tank.   Ravensbourne Schoolhouse.
The main school building seats about 30 people and can be used as a meeting room or laboratory. The room has heating and a white board. There are benches with power points suitable for laboratory activities. This room can also sleep approximately 15 adults.  Ravensbourne Schoolroom.
The kitchen contains a refrigerator (fridge/freezer), a four-burner gas stove with a gas oven, sink and benches. Cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery for up to 20 people are provided.  Ravensbourne Kitchen.
There is a large covered BBQ area ('open shed') attached to the main school building with a gas BBQ. This area can be used to serve meals or to provide additional space for other activities.  Ravensbourne BBQ Shed.
There is ample flat ground for accommodating tents.  Camping at Ravensbourne.
Enclosed flushing toilets (separate male and female), showers and hand basin facilities are located adjacent to the large covered BBQ area ('open shed'). These facilities are wheelchair accessible.
