Sustainability Alive Awards

USQ's Faculty of Science PICSE Sustainability Alive Competition Awards will engage primary and secondary school students in projects to explain and apply sustainability to elements of everyday living. Through engaging in hands-on projects in the Sustainability Alive Competition Awards, students will gain an awareness and appreciation of how science and technology are integral to sustaining our environment, society, business, development and other aspects of our everyday lives.

 

Primary and secondary school students will have the opportunity to competitively gain and create an awareness of sustainability by engaging in one of three different projects:

The 2009 Sustainability Alive Awards will be displayed and judged in the Clive Berghofer Recreation Centre at USQ Toowoomba Campus on Sunday 16 August 2009. Entries are to be received by Friday 7 August 2009.
