Nursing science laboratories

As part of the Nursing program our students study the properties of bacteria that are useful in the body, and those that cause infection.

Our nursing science laboratories hold all necessary equipment to enable our students to learn in areas of anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, microbiology and the biophysical sciences. Our emphasis here is to give an overview of the sciences to allow our students an understanding of the human body and how it works, what happens when health is compromised, what medications can do within the body, and the types of equipment nurses use.
