Simulated wards

Our simulated wards are equipped with both hydraulic lift and electric lift hospital beds, trolleys, physical assessment equipment, patient positioning equipment, simulated patient oxygen and suction, and numerous simulators to allow a thorough learning experience. We strive to present simulated situations to our nursing students in a safe learning environment that allows them to gain knowledge and grow in confidence as professionals.

In their first year of study our Nursing students gain skills in physical assessment including monitoring blood pressure, and accurate documentation.
