How CORE Works

CORE's primary purpose is to undertake research that benefits our clients. We do not seek to make profit, only to recover our direct costs in doing the research. That is why we are so much cheaper than our commercial counterparts. That is also why we insist on the right to use the data for research projects, to publish research articles based on the data, and to have postgraduate students participate in projects.

Of course, we preserve the anonymity of all our participants, and acknowledge the involvement of all parties who have contributed. We are happy to, and frankly, we have to. CORE is bound by both ethical standards and contractual obligation. We are also sensitive to propriety in internal communication with our clients. Even so, we understand that this sort of arrangement does not suit every organization. We are happy to leave the fully confidential work to full-fee contractors.

The nice thing about CORE is that it offers clients a truly independent and very experienced team of researchers at a discount rate. We believe the most useful research is the research that meets the needs of our clients, so we listen and look for ways to help enhance our client's objectives.
