Science experience
The Science Experience is a fun three-days of science activities (PDF*813KB) for students in Year 9 in 2010 who will be entering Year 10 in 2011.
Each Science Experience program (PDF*122KB) is designed to provide those who have an interest in science with an opportunity to engage in a wide range of fascinating science activities under the guidance of scientists who love their work.
The University of Southern Queensland will be conducting a three day Science Experience program from Tuesday 5 to Thursday 7 July 2011 (this event was originally scheduduled for 18-20 January but rescheduled due to uncertain weather conditions).
In this program, you will:
- be introduced to a range of science and technology related activities
- meet the scientists who work in a very broad range of science, technology and engineering fields
- learn about careers in science, technology and engineering
- meet new friends
The program includes a range of activities from the Department of Employment, Economic Development and Innovation,Faculty of Engineering and Surveying and Faculty of Sciences.
Application forms have been distributed to all secondary schools and Rotary Clubs.
