The Faculty of Sciences awards a number of prizes to graduates in both undergraduate and postgraduate programs.

 Australian Institute of Physics Prize awarded to the most outstanding student in an undergraduate Physics major
 Australian Psychological Society Prize awarded to the most outstanding fourth year student in Psychology
 Geoff Ord Memorial Prize awarded to the student with the highest achievement in PSY3010 Assessment of Behaviour
Australian College of Mental Health Nurses (ACMHN)

Undergraduate - awarded to the student achieving the highest percentage in NUR2200 Mental Health Nursing Care (both Toowoomba and Fraser Coast campuses)|

Postgraduate - awarded to the student with the highest GPA in the Master of Mental Health Nursing program

Royal College of Nursing, Australia - High Achiever Award awarded to the highest achieving student in the Bachelor of Nursing (Pre-Registration) program
(not necessarily the highest GPA).
Department of Nursing and Midwifery Professional 
Development Award
awarded to the student with the highest GPA in the Bachelor of Nursing (Post-Registration) program (across both campuses)
"Sister Elizabeth Kenny Medal of Distinction" for Distinction in Rural and Remote Nursing graduating student with the highest GPA in the Postgraduate Certificate in Advanced Nursing Practice (Rural and Remote)
