Graduate student consortiumThe graduate student consortium is an opportunity for graduate students at all stages of the research process to present their ideas, obtain feedback from Professors and fellow students, and discuss a variety of sport marketing topics. A goal of the consortium is to assist students learn to present and discuss their ideas and engage in dialogue in order to improve their research efforts. To be eligible for the consortium graduate students should submit an abstract outlining their research proposal. At the presentation students will present their research in detail including a justification of their research question, an overview of the literature and their proposed methodology. Presentations for possible inclusion will be subject to a review process. Papers accepted will be presented at the inaugural Doctorial Consortia in 20 minutes sessions. Students should prepare 15 minute presentations to allow time for questions and discussion. The consortium will take place on Saturday 19 July 2008. There will be a lower registration fee for students attending the conference and attending just the Consortia. |
