Equity Incentives Fund (EIF)
The Office of Social Justice is responsible for managing the University's Equity Incentives Fund (EIF) Internal Grant Scheme. This grant is funded from Higher Education Participation and Partnerships Program (HEPPP) and provides grants, up to $15,000, to USQ staff for equity initiatives that aim to improve the access, retention and completion rates for current and prospective domestic undergraduate student equity groups. These groups include students from low socio-economic status (SES) backgrounds and Indigenous students. Funds are also available for projects which target students with a disability, students from non-English speaking backgrounds (NESB), students from rural and isolated areas, and students who experience disadvantage as a result of their gender.

Equity Incentive Fund Projects
Since 2006, the EIF grant scheme has funded many excellent initiatives and successful pilot programs which have gone on to positively contribute to the participation, retention and success of USQ's equity student groups. A list of EIF fund recipients is available.
