On this spider the first two pairs of legs are strong with rows of inwards-pointing spines and are curved forward like those of crab and salticid spiders. The triangular abdomen and its pattern of markings are distinctive and almost unique.

Spider(s) with a very similar appearance: Arkys lancearius and Arkys clavatus.
