This species is a tropical spider known to be present in Malaysia, Papua New Guinea, and Northern Australia. However, the photos shown on this page are of a specimen found in Noosa, Queensland, so the range of this spider appear to be greater than was previously thought to be the case.
Spider(s) with a very similar appearance: Some Dolophones and Ordgarius species as well as Poecilopachys australasia.
