Habitat:
May form a small web in flowers and green vegetation but also forms loose, irregular, tangled webs on the outer walls of buildings (usually in corners)
Toxicity:
Not known to be dangerous but related to the potentially lethal redback spider, Latrodectus hasseltii, so treat with caution

This spider is similar to the small theridiid species that are common in webs associated with garden shrubs.

Spider(s) with a very similar appearance: Achaearanea tepidariorum and other small theridiids.
