Habitat:
This relatively mobile salticid is commonly found among the leaves of eucalypt trees and in leaf litter but can also be found on bark or in unexpected places
Toxicity:
Unknown; a bite from this spider may lead to some local pain but more serious effects are unlikely; this species does not show instinctive aggression towards humans so any bitings will be 'accidental'

The female

Spider(s) with a very similar appearance: Many other salticids that lack distinctive surface colour patterns. It is therefore necessary to examine the shapes of the external genital apparatus in order to verify the identification.
