Habitat:
On green leaves in eucalypt forests, usually in a spoon-shaped web/retreat that is sometimes twisted around a branch; this species is less well known than the pisaurid species that live on or under fresh water in ponds
Toxicity:
Unknown; handle with caution since some relatives may produce a painful bite

Spider(s) with a very similar appearance: Many lycosid species and at least some members of the Family Zoridae, all three families being closely related. Dendrolycosa is easily mistaken for a wolf spider but lacks the pair of enlarged eyes that characterize the lycosids.
