Note: This proposed name is based on similarities with the Jotus images presented by Shield and by Davies and Zabka but the spiders shown on this page also have much in common with the related genus Lycidas

Body length:
female: about 5 mm
male: about 4.5 mm
Habitat:
This rather mobile species is most likely to be found on young bark and green leaves
Toxicity:
Unknown but, like most other salticids, this spider may be able to cause mild illness or at least pain and inflammation at a bite site
