This species is one of the few Australian spiders that has a tendency to form large colonial webs containing a considerable number of individuals, although it is perhaps more often found in a solitary web of lacy silk within a curled leaf. The four chevrons on the top of its abdomen are distinctive.
Spider(s) with a very similar appearance: Badumna longinqua.
