This relatively large oxyopid species tends to use green-yellow colouring as camouflage while resting on leaves. It appears to be much less common than other oxyopids found on the Darling Downs, but its hexagonal eye pattern and spiny legs leave no room for doubt as to its family links. It also jumps from leaf to leaf in the typical manner of an oxyopid.
Spider(s) with a very similar appearance: Oxyopes elegans.
