Useful identifying features of this spider are the large chelicerae (forwards pointing in males) and the fact that the chelicerae and carapace are dark brown and the abdomen is lighter with a dark central stripe on top.
Spider(s) with a very similar appearance: Clubiona robusta, Cheiracanthium species and Ariadna species.
