On the surfaces of green leaves or in a retreat formed by curling them into a tube
Toxicity:
Uncertain; bites by this species and some of its relatives are said to be able to induce mild illness or at least local inflammation in humans and so should be handled with caution

This spider usually hunts at night but is easy enough to find by day.

Spider(s) with a very similar appearance: Other Cheiracanthium species as well as Ariadna species and Clubiona robusta.
