Habitat:
This species builds a small orb web among the leaves of shrubs or tall grasses, reasonably close to the ground; the spider sits in the web at night but hides nearby during the daylight hours
Toxicity:
Unknown, but this spider may be too small to be able to seriously envenomate a human and is not known to be strongly aggressive anyway

The bright colours and smooth upper surfaces of this spider have led to it being given the common name of the enamel spider.
