Beaudesert bus service

In Semester 1, 2013 USQ will be operating a bus service from the Beaudesert area to the Springfield campus via Jimboomba, Flagstone and Greenbank. This bus service will be available to USQ and Bremer TAFE students and staff. Depending on usage, the service may be continued into Semester 2, 2013.

Service route

Information on the Beaudesert bus route (PDF* 633KB) can be downloaded online. Whilst there will be some specific bus stops, students will be able to hail the driver at other points along the service route.

Timetable

Up to four services per day will operate to and from the campus to coincide with morning and afternoon University classes.

The bus will only operate during Orientation, teaching and exam weeks and no services will be provided on weekends or public holidays.

Ticket costs

The costs for using this service are:

Prepaid Tickets       $2.00 per trip

Casual Tickets         $3.00 per trip

Prepaid tickets to the value of either $10.00 or $20.00 can be purchased from the USQ Springfield Library whilst casual tickets can be purchased from the bus driver. Correct coinage is required when purchasing casual tickets from the bus drivers.

Disabled access

The bus does not have disabled access. However, if you have specific needs, please email studentservicesspringfield@usq.edu.au and they will endeavour to assist with alternative arrangements.
