There is paid parking at USQ Springfield. Ensure you check signs for days and times. Education City manages car parking at USQ Springfield.

Where to park

USQ parking is located in the carpark adjacent to the USQ multi courts off University Drive.

Disabled parking

Three bays in Parking Area 5 are available for staff and students who hold a Queensland Transport Disabled Persons Parking Permit or similar permit issued by an equivalent authority in another state. This permit must be displayed when parking in these bays. There is no charge for using these bays.

Tickets and permits

Tickets cost AUD3.00 for up to five hours and AUD4.00 from five to 12 hours.

Ticket machines are located at the entrance to each parking area. Display your ticket on the dashboard of your car where it can be easily seen from the outside through the front windscreen.

Semester and yearly passes can be purchased for AUD95 (one semester) and AUD190 (three semesters). Permits can be purchased (cash only) form Level 1 of the World Knowledge Centre.

Staff parking

Where to park

Staff with permits and authorised visitors on USQ business are to use Parking Area 5 or the section marked 'staff parking' in Parking Area 3. Please observe the markings for designated and reserved spaces. If no spaces are available in this area then staff are able to use general parking.

USQ staff approved to be employed at Springfield Campus as their primary workplace are eligible for permits at no charge. You can apply for one at Level 1 Administration. Permits must be prominently displayed on the dashboard at all times.

Authorised visitors coming to Springfield Campus on USQ business, including staff travelling in USQ vehicles from other campuses, can apply for a reserved car park by contacting Level 1 Administration on +61 7 3470 4100. Upon confirmation, a parking bay number will be allocated and a 'reserved' marker placed in the bay. When you arrive at the campus, please place the marker on the grassed area in front of the bay. As these car parks are in a permit-free zone, there is no need for anything to be displayed on the dashboard.
