Accommodation

USQ is able to provide students with information on a range of accommodation options. Types of accommodation available include:

• Education City Student Village
• Homestay
• Private rental
• Shared student accommodation

Education City Accommodation

The Education City Student Village is a residential community situated within Education City and offers student and staff accommodation, cafes, restaurants, shops and student services in one central location.

Applications for accommodation can be made to the Springfield Student Village.

Homestay

Homestay enables International students who want to live in a home environment or with a family to gain an insight into Australian life.  It offers a unique opportunity to experience Australian culture first hand by participating in the host family's daily routine. Students interested in a homestay placement should contact the Administration Officer Student Services on +61 7 3470 4400 or email studentservicesspringfield@usq.edu.au.

Off-Campus Accommodation

Student Services provides an online Accommodation Database which assists USQ Students to find alternative accommodation options.

Alternatively, there is an Accommodation Noticeboard located in the Student Commons on Level 4 where advertisements for a room/property for rent or for sale are placed. Any person wanting to advertise accommodation for rent or for sale in the Springfield area is welcome to come into the University and place their advertisement on the noticeboard. All advertisements will be removed on the last Friday of every month.
