Financial incentives exist for employers maintain a diverse workplace:
Disability Funding
Please note that all funding available is dependent on the results of an individual's Centrelink assessment.
Supported Wage System
This system offers financial assistance to employers through wage subsidies if eligible workers with a disability are employed for at least 13 weeks.
Workplace Modifications Scheme
The scheme provides practical assistance to employers and workers by reimbursing the cost of workplace modifications or special equipment for workers with disabilities.
Assistance to Australian Apprentices with disabilities
There are three types of assistance available if you employ apprentices or trainees with a disability:

a wage support payment amount

assistance for tutorial, interpreter and mentor services

assistance for leasing or purchasing essential equipment or modifying the workplace.
New Apprenticeship Access Program
This program provides job seekers who experience barriers to skilled employment, with pre-vocational training, support and assistance to obtain and maintain a New Apprenticeship
Indigenous funding
Structured Training Employment and Projects (STEP)
Flexible funding that is tailored to business needs and provided for projects which lead to lasting employment for Indigenous job seekers.
