Work Integrated Learning
USQ understands the importance of developing the employability skills of students in order for them to make a smooth transition to the workforce. The Careers & Employment team coordinate a number of employability development programs designed to improve employability skills and expose students to their chosen industry.
Employers are encouraged to participate in these development programs in order to improve the employability skills of students entering the workforce and to meet potential future employees.
Career mentoring - This program matches students with industry professionals to enhance student understanding about the industry and to develop employability skills.
Industry Experience - This program allows companies to hire a student on unpaid work experience and USQ will cover the workplace insurance.
