Career Library

The Online Career Library provides online resources about planning careers and how to get there, information about graduate jobs and vacation experience, and job search sites:

  • Career planning resources
    Provides a number of useful websites that can assist in planning what career interests you and how achieve it. Student Services also has Career Counsellors that can speak to you about planning your career.
  • Graduate employers
    Numerous employer websites are listed that provide information on their graduate programs and other work experience and career opportunities.
  • Job search online 
    This provides a number of useful job search websites that you can use to find casual, full time, part time or contract work.
  • Job Application Resources
    Find different websites and examples about how to prepare a resume, selection criteria and interview skills.

On-campus career library

'The Work Shop' (Toowoomba campus)

The Toowoomba campus now has an on-campus Career Library located in R Block next to Heritage Bank. The Work Shop is a Careers & Employment information centre that provides students with information about jobs, potential employers and job application assistance. All physical promotional material such as brochures, graduate and vacation books and job search computers are available from The Work Shop during opening hours from 10am - 3pm Monday - Friday. 

All brochures and magazines are put on display for students to take. This includes brochures and flyers from companies advertising graduate programs, scholarships, work experience and other opportunities. It also includes career magazines such as 'Burst' and career information books such as 'Graduate Opportunities', 'Unimail' and 'Univac'. Come in and collect some brochures, search for jobs on the computers or ask the staff for advice on finding and applying for jobs.

Fraser Coast campus

Springfield campus
