Counselling

USQ Counselling Services is managed by a team of qualified professionals who are committed to providing students of the University with confidential counselling services.

USQ  counselling services

The Counselling Services are available, without charge to currently enrolled students.

Appointments

Counsellors are available for initial appointments during the day, Monday through to Friday. This interview will last approximately 50 minutes. For many people, one appointment is enough to resolve the issue. For others, further appointments can be made if necessary but the counselling is usually short-term (up to six sessions). Sometimes, clients may be referred to appropriate practitioners off-campus if long term counselling or specialised services are required.
