Health Insurance - OSHC
Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) is health insurance that provides health insurance cover for the costs associated with out of and in hospital medical treatment, pharmaceuticals and emergency ambulance assistance and transport. The Department of Immigration and Citizenship (DIAC) require all holders of a student visa to maintain OSHC during their entire stay in Australia. Student visa condition 8501 - Maintain OSHC; is a mandatory condition of a student visa. DIAC state, international students who do not maintain their OSHC may have their student visa cancelled.
