Activate and order a card

To order your OSHC Worldcare membership card, you need to:

• arrive in Australia
• enrol in courses appropriate to your study program at USQ
• receive information about obtaining their OSHC Worldcare card during Orientation
• or - go to the OSHC Worldcare Student member and order your membership card. Your membership policy number will usually be a combination of your USQ student number and the letters USQ eg: 50010000USQ (notice the preceding zeros of your student number have been removed)

If you want help in ordering your membership card, please ensure you attend the International Orientation program. An OSHC Worldcare representative conducts an information session on the basics of OSHC and International Orientation Mentors provide personal support to help you order your card. You may need to discuss your OSHC with a Worldcare representative if:

• you arrive more than two weeks before International Orientation
• arrive after International Orientation has finished
• your online membership activation has not worked
• are a student sponsored by:
  • AusAID
  • An Australian government agency 
  • Australian or Foreign government Defence Force OR
  • Foreign government scholarship

Toowoomba campus students can obtain assistance from the OSHC Worldcare Representative located at Student Services. Current hours can be obtained from Student Services (G Block) or by phoning (07) 4631 2372.

Springfield and Fraser Coast campus students can obtain assistance by contacting OSHC Worldcare by telephoning 13 OSHC (13 67 42) or by submitting an OSHC request for assistance online.
