What is the Equity Incentives Fund?
The Equity Incentives Fund is one of five internal competitive grants schemes available for USQ staff members to enable access to funding in order to undertake new and innovative projects in key priority areas at USQ. The Equity Incentives Fund supports the University in achieving its social justice equity and inclusion goal as stated in USQ's Strategic Plan 2009-2013:
"To broaden equitable participation by students and staff and to encourage the development of a university culture that values diversity, multiculturalism and social inclusiveness."
When is it available?
The Equity Incentives Fund is an annual competitive grants scheme. Applications are ordinarily requested in the second half of each calendar year for funding for the following year. All USQ staff members are notified of current rounds through internal communication networks.
How do USQ staff members apply?
USQ staff members are notified of application rounds through internal communication networks. Staff members are given access to application forms and eligibility criteria and are encouraged to submit applications to the Executive Officer to the Pro Vice-Chancellor (Social Justice) following a collaborative consultation process with relevant stakeholders.
