USQ's main campus is located on 75.6 hectares of landscaped grounds ten minutes drive from the centre of Toowoomba.

Toowoomba is a city of approximately 90 000 residents, and is about 90 minutes drive from the Queensland capital, Brisbane.

Campus facilities

The Toowoomba campus is modern and well-equipped with a wide range of facilities including:

  • television studios
  • a state-of-the-art library
  • performing arts theatre
  • concert hall
  • sciences and engineering laboratories
  • modern lecture theatres
  • computer laboratories (24 hour access available)
  • sport and recreation centre
  • archery range, tennis and basketball courts,
  • five sports grounds
  • Australia's largest and most traditionally designed Japanese garden.

All USQ students in the region, whether studying on-campus, off-campus or online, are welcome to use the Library, computer and other facilities on the Campus.

Accommodation

Three co-educational Residential Colleges, McGregor, Steele Rudd and Concannon - provide accommodation and meals for more than 450 students. They are close to all University facilities and offer the opportunity to make new friends and experience rich collegiate life. There is also a range of private accommodation available in Toowoomba.

Retail facilities  

The Toowoomba campus has a number of retail facilities on campus, including bookshop, post office, doctor, gymnasium, travel agent, hairdresser, banks, ATMs, a childcare centre, and a variety of places to eat.
