STAFFING:

SYNOPSIS:

Within  this  unit students who have a history of good academic achievement
may  undertake a project that is research, discipline or field based.   The
objectives of the project are developed in conjunction with the  member  of
the  academic  staff, selected to supervise and evaluate the  project,  and
approved  by  the  Head  of Department.  The unit  encourages  students  to
develop  independent research techniques that will culminate  in  a  report
that lends itself to academic scrutiny.

OBJECTIVES:

Upon completion of this unit, students will be able to:

1. develop an independent capacity to research, document, analyze and report on a project of substance.
