Creating works of art is a fundamental component of practical studies in the Visual Arts. This, the final unit of studio practice, culminates in an exhibition of work evaluated by specialist staff employed within the Visual Arts Department and selected external Assessors, established as professional artists in their own right. The unit requires involvement in two areas of practice. Studio practice is supported by dialogue with appropriate staff, advice on selection, preparation and presentation of work in the final assessment exhibitions.
