Synopsis

The  course  incorporates self-paced instruction and mastery  learning
techniques.

The  course  includes  a consideration of the  nature  of  matter  and
energy,   atomic   structure  and  its  relationship   with   chemical
properties, chemical formulae and equations, common types of  chemical
reactions, the study of gases and gas laws, chemical equilibria and  a
fairly comprehensive introduction to chemical reactions.
