Synopsis

International  Marketing represents a major application  of  marketing
concepts  to  the  international market area.  It is  based  upon  the
premise   that  while  marketing  to  overseas  countries   has   many
similarities  to  marketing  within  domestic  boundaries  there   are
significant differences and problems to warrant special study. In this
unit  students  will  learn  to evaluate  international  markets,  and
determine  appropriate strategies for entering such markets and  apply
the marketing mix elements to international markets.
