Synopsis

This unit will enable students to: understand and apply the principles
of  job  analysis, incorporating job descriptions, job  specifications
and  job  evaluation; understand the rationale for  and  practice  of,
staff  compensation  i.e.  wage and salary  administration  and  other
benefit allocation; examine and apply the processes of recruitment and
selection, involving the study of individual assessment procedures and
the theory and practice of selection interviewing.
