Synopsis

This  unit  is  concerned with factors affecting the worker  in  the  work
environment,  including, among other things, legislation,  anatomical  and
physiological  conditions,  shift work, noise  and  vibration,  industrial
health and accidents, lighting and the visual environment, age, sex,  dust
and  work  stress.  Management strategy for the attainment of  health  and
productivity in the work place is also discussed.
