Synopsis


This  unit examines the impact of law on the enterprises that  conduct
international business and on particular transactions entered into  by
such  enterprises.  Initially the unit will explore legal  aspects  of
the  structures through which business may be conducted  overseas  and
then the focus will be on individual transactions.  The formation  and
drafting  of  international contracts will be dealt with  as  well  as
finance  and transport of goods.  A study will be made of the  methods
by which private international legal disputes are resolved.
