Synopsis

Electricity is used in agriculture, commercial, industrial  and public
work    operations,   as   well   as   in   remote   area    services.
Engineering  professionals  use their  knowledge  and  skills  in  the
selection,   installation,  operation,  control  and  maintenance   of
electrical  equipment  (such  as power  supplies,  storage  batteries,
transformers, converters, motors, generators) for industrial  services
(such   as   lighting,  heating,  cogeneration).   The   unit provides
the  analytical and practical skills using software tools  for  energy
management and an awareness of sustainable energy system practices.
