Synopsis

Structural Engineering, while having many well established facets,  is
also  characterised by many developing fronts. This option study  unit
will  draw material from both these categories to further develop  the
structural  expertise  of  the  student  and  provide  background  and
commentary to the provisions of current structural design codes  where
appropriate.
