Synopsis

The dissertation for the Master of Business Information Technology comprises the
writing  of  a  dissertation (maximum of 20,000 words) which may  incorporate  a
substantial  employment-oriented project.  Students examine a professional  area
of  interest relating to information technology and are assisted by one or  more
supervisors with appropriate background.  Each candidate for the dissertation is
required  to  submit  a  proposal for approval  and  endorsement  prior  to  the
commencement of the dissertation.  Topics are usually drawn from the candidate's
experience and interest.
