Synopsis

This unit will consider both the theory and practice associated with a
variety of approaches to the application of computers for teaching and
learning  in  primary classrooms. Emphasis will  be  placed  upon  the
integration  of  computing into the primary school curriculum.  Topics
will  include consideration of policy documents relevant to computing,
computer  literacy,  research  about the  educational  application  of
computers and applications of computers for specific curriculum needs.
