Synopsis

This  unit develops and consolidates the principles and techniques  of
voice production and speech for the performer. Text work focuses  upon
the  preparation  and  presentation of  material  from  the  classical
repertoire.   Sight-reading for audition purposes is  also  addressed.
The  unit includes dialogue and voice coaching on a one-to-one  basis,
where   required,  to  accommodate  individual  students'   needs   in
developing  and  extending  vocal  skills  and  expertise.    Dialogue
coaching  of  the  actor  in public production is  also  incorporated.
Singing  classes continue in group and private sessions with focus  on
interpretation  and  presentation of material from  the  modern  music
theatre repertoire.
