Synopsis
The aim of this unit is to enable the student to acquire competency in
the safe use of electrical and mechanical hand tools in common usage
in electrical workshops and laboratories, to acquire competency in the
design, construction and documentation of electronic equipment, and to
comprehend the principles of modern automated assembly using surface
mount technology.
