Synopsis

Financial decisions within a firm can be divided into the investment,
financing and dividend decision. The unit Business Finance I
introduces students to the investment decisions allowing for risk and
uncertainty. This unit completes the coverage of this decision, as
well as examining the financing and dividend impacts. It examines the
effects of mergers, acquisitions and disclosure policy on such
decisions. This unit recognises the need to consider international
ramifications on the decision making process.
