Synopsis

This  unit  examines the development of financial strategies  for  the
management of the risk and return from trading in volatile  money  and
capital  markets.  Emphasis is placed on strategies  for  hedging  and
speculative trading practices in bond, money and equity markets.  Risk
management strategies using derivative products such as FRAs, options,
futures and swaps will be examined. The role of the treasury operation
in the organisation is also examined.
