Synopsis

This unit will enable students to: understand and apply the principles
of  job  analysis, incorporating job descriptions, job  specifications
and job evaluation; examine and apply the processes of recruitment and
selection, involving the study of individual assessment procedures and
the  theory  and  practice of selection interviewing;  understand  the
rationale for, and practice of, staff compensation, ie wage and salary
administration and other benefit allocation.
