Synopsis

This unit is concerned with the management of health and safety in the
workplace. The unit addresses theoretical perspectives on occupational
health  and  safety, the relevant legislation and management  strategy
for  the  attainment of health and productivity in  the  workplace.  A
selection of current issues in occupational health and safety, such as
stress, noise, shiftwork and rehabilitation are also discussed.
